Nonsense, says philosophy professor Tara Smith in this compelling, readable book. Like Ayn Rand, Smith asserts that life is the reward of virtue. Smith remains consistent with Rand's ethics of rational self-interest, but builds upon it and also makes some unique psychological points. Highly recommended.
