North Korea's attitude should clearly show the seriousness of the Communist government's thirst for domination and war in the region. Is North Korea's leadership so totally mad that it would want to take on the United States? As I see the situation, the United States created this monstrous crisis in 1994, when government officials bribed North Korea with free oil in exchange for its promise not to develop nuclear weapons. Now we have a more dangerous mess on our hands. In international affairs, there's never anything to be gained by appeasing dictators.
