House Republicans want to show support for troops in Iraq? This is precisely the reason to move ahead with impeachment -- not delay it. American troops fight for justice. President Bill Clinton mocked justice by deliberately lying under oath in a sexual harassment suit against him. Then, on the eve of his impeachment vote, he cynically and brazenly bombed Iraq. He actually expects us to believe he was trying to save the country instead of his unprincipled skin. For six years he has done everything possible to avoid attacking Iraq; and now, he suddenly decides to risk innocent lives in order to retain power. History will note the tragic irony: American soldiers fight for a nation of laws, not of men -- under a president who undermines that very ideal.
