Hillary Clinton claimed that the Republican-proposed income tax cut was "wrong." The truth is, tax cuts are morally right. Politicians like Hillary do not create wealth. Productive individuals competing in the marketplace create wealth. And if capitalists did not create wealth, politicians like Mrs. Clinton would have no wealth to tax and redistribute. Everyone knows that capitalism is economically superior to socialistic redistribution. But does anybody know that people being allowed to keep the money they earn -- and distribute it as they see fit -- is morally superior as well? The Republican tax bill was so minuscule that it was hardly worth defending or opposing. But the principle behind the tax bill is the key issue. Being allowed to keep that which belongs to you represents the core of both morality and freedom.
