Gore Is Money Taker, Not Money Maker

Al Gore said he would not go along with a huge tax cut "at the expense of everyone else and wreck our good economy in the process." Did Gore, like most career politicians, ever make an honest dollar in his life? Of course not. He takes money. He does not make money. Wealth creators make money. Money is made in the private sector. Government merely redistributes it. "I will fight for you," Gore said. What he really means is that he'll fight for certain people, those who want money but who don't want to earn and create it. Gore will be their pimp. He will take the money from the people who earned it, calling this "fairness." He will condemn as "unfair" and "selfish" the people who produced that wealth in the first place. One day the people who made all this wealth might find some courage. They might rise up and say, "Al Gore, this money does not belong to you. I refuse to create any more of it. If I don't create it, then you have no taxes. And you no longer get to be Santa Claus. Until you give my money back and acknowledge that it's mine to invest and do with as I please, then I quit." What would Gore do then? Now that would be an interesting presidential campaign.
