immigrationImmigration reform? Here's a thought: How about no freebies -- not for immigrants, not for anybody. Government will protect citizens from foreign enemies and domestic crooks and killers. That's it. No transfers of wealth. No "free" benefits or services -- not even schools -- paid for by others. No corporate subsidies, no gigantic taxes, no regulations deciding what's "fair" to one group at the expense of another. No longer using our once constitutionally limited government to allow politicians to spend other people's money. How many immigrants currently clamoring to get into the U.S. will still clamor to do so? There's no way of knowing. What we can be sure of is: They'll all be the kind of immigrants you want.
