When you’re less stressed, you can see more clearly. It’s like the difference between having 20/200 vision or 20/20 vision. When you see more clearly, you focus better, you’re more competent, and you feel better about things in general. The same is true emotionally, and stress-wise. If you do what’s necessary to lift some of the stress off yourself, then you consequently can better see the opportunities that were there all along. At the same time, if you generate a better, happier, more confident attitude as a result of feeling better, then it’s possible that others will show more interest in you as well. It’s a win-win.
