People get confused about focus. People say, “I cannot focus.” In that moment this may be literally true, but they CAN revert back to the activity of focusing. Let’s say you’re really committed to reading a book, and you like the book. Yet, at times you lose focus. Do you put the book down in frustration, and give up? Or do you simply go back to it? Again and again and again, until you get it right? Sometimes, the issue here is one of letting your focus and choice WIN against the tendency to lose focus.
