The economic recession may have bottomed out and, some claim, this proves the trillion dollar government spending stimulus plan must be "working." Here's a question: How can that plan be working if almost none of the projects paid for in the plan have even begun? How can government spending be "stimulating" the economy if there isn't even any spending happening in the first place?

All-out socialized medicine, in which government becomes the single-payer of health care by phasing out private health insurance, isn't very popular with quite a lot of people. Here's a question: If our "health care system" in America is on the brink of collapse, why are so many disturbed and upset to the point of protest by the prospect of changing it radically?

The President has an answer to these kinds of questions: Stop asking them. If you ask questions like this, you are part of the problem. If you ask questions, it's proof you are one of those who "created the mess" in the first place. At a rally the other day, Mr. President Obama stated, "I don't want the folks who created the mess to do a lot of talking. I want them to get out of the way so we can clean up the mess."

Did you hear that? Get out of the way. Don't ask questions. Don't think. And don't speak--unless you agree.

Left-wing liberalism used to be the party of ideas, of "diversity," and of free speech--or at least it claimed to be. No more. The people in power are no less fascist in their attitudes than other fascists have been, in the past. On top of it, they call anyone who disagrees with them fascist.

Mr. President wants silence. Right now, he's merely asking for it--demanding it, in fact. If he doesn't get what he wants, then what will he do next?
