America needs divided government. This isn't because there are no solutions. There are rational solutions, but Democrats propose the absolute opposite of what’s needed and Republicans propose absolutely nothing. Given this state of affairs, the only solution is two-party government. The more Democrats and Republicans must defend themselves from each other, the less time and energy they will be able to spend on the negligence and assaults they are deservedly known for. So when Democrats are in control, weaken them with Republicans; and when Republicans are in control, curb them by electing some Democrats. Interestingly enough, a growing number of Americans seem to be doing exactly this. Maybe one day there will be a mainstream political movement which we can vote FOR -- one based on the resurgence of freedom, unfettered capitalism and unblemished individual rights.
