Mr. President Obama was elected last year, in large part, because he was considered one of the brightest, most brilliant men in human history. Is it possible that he isn't? I must say that even I didn't expect something as stupid as this to come out of his mouth. Wrong things come out of his mouth all the time--but it chills me to think that someone this ignorant, or this intellectually dishonest, holds this much power. He's not inspirational, either. As writer Peggy Noonan recently pointed out, the closest to inspiration to come out of the new regime was the phrase, "Never let a good crisis go to waste." This came from the cynical public ramblings of his chief advisor. It says a lot about the real motives of power lusters everywhere.

Here's what Mr. President said at a recent health care "town hall" on the subject of private enterprise versus government control: "UPS and FedEx are doing just fine, right? No, they are. It's the Post Office that's always having the problems." So let me get this straight: This is an argument in FAVOR of creating the equivalent of a Post Office for medical care? This is an argument in favor of passing legislation that will, to hold the metaphor, put UPS and FedEx out of business and leave us with only the Post Office?
