I can’t even begin to describe how refreshing your work is ... Your blog hits the nail on the head regarding the indivisible relationship between philosophy / politics and mental health. Most everyone I know can’t seem to wrap their head around how someone “in my role” could be so pro-capitalist, pro-individual – you name it. My response to that is, How could anyone not be?! Optimal mental health springs from healthy self-esteem… and you can’t have that without the “self.” Seems pretty basic to me, but it’s a constant uphill battle in terms of dealing with the wider mental health community.
